I’m particularly glad to reach the end of the week as my daughter and I have been on an OrangeTheory challenge and have gone four days straight and I’m just plumb tuckered out, as they say. I’m done. I have nothing left. I’ve emptied the proverbial tank. I’m spent.
Fortunately, even when you’re super beat because you’re working out really hard because you’re out of shape and need to get fit, solving the daily Wordle is still a fun diversion.

This is a word comprised of all extremely common letters, not unlike yesterday’s word which was also comprised of all very common letters. Another similarity? They both include double letters. Yesterday’s word had two S’s and today’s has two A’s. Yesterday’s word was comprised of those two S’s, an A, an E and a T. This has the two A’s plus an ‘I’ and an ‘R.’
Wordle Bot was pretty happy with me again today, saying that ‘slate’ is one of its favorite opening words, getting total remaining solutions down 71, though this time it was down to just 19.
While Wordle Bot thinks I should have picked ‘prick’ it concedes that train was a nice guess—after all, I was down to just one possible solution at this point, and I got it on my next guess with tiara.
