A female swimmer has been bitten by a bull shark at Coral Bay.
According to Surf Life Saving WA, the woman received minor injuries on Saturday after being bitten by a 1.5 metre bull shark around 11am.

Fisheries is investigating the incident, which was not reported to authorities until Monday.
WAtoday understands the woman was taken to a nearby nursing station where she received stitches to her hand and was released soon afterwards.
Fisheries are yet to confirm what the woman was doing when she was bitten.
