The AFL has unveiled a raft of changes to its executive team on the eve of the season, headlined by the appointment of Simon Lethlean as the new general manager of football operations.
Lethlean replaces Mark Evans, who earlier this week took on the role as Gold Coast chief executive after the departure of Andrew Travis.

There are also new roles for Ray Gunston, Travis Auld and Andrew Dillon, while three new members have been added to the executive.
