A cagey first half and the home side take a lead into the sheds. They've been virtually faultless, with only a couple of errors and no penalties against them. Only a single digit margin though, and this game is far from over. 

The Warriors lose track of the tackle count and Fusitua is brough down near the Roosters 20 on the last. 

Johnson makes it an eight point lead with that kick. 12-4. 

They swing right and with a huge overlap, Johnson puts his centre through a gap and over to score with ease. 

Pretty clear professional foul there - the winger has it stripped one-on-one by Shaun Johnson and then lies all over him as the halfback was trying to get up to play the ball quickly. Roosters down to 12! 

Lisone spills it so the Warriors waste that golden chance. Eight minutes to go in the first half. 

Big mistake here - it takes a hop near the try line and the deceives the big prop just in front of the dead ball line. It rolls past him and the Warriors will get the chance to hit back immediately. 

Gordon shanks the kick and the Warriors stay in the lead. 6-4. 

After that huge run down the left they immediately spread it to the right and the young centre makes short work of Hoffman one-on-one before carrying Ayshford to the line with him. Great effort! 

The pass goes to ground and Kenny-Dowall is away! He sprint 50 metres before Fusitua and RTS run him down. Big chance for the Roosters now. 

Fantastic passage here - the Roosters break down the left and it ends up in the hands of Tupou who angles a kick back infield...but RTS reads it perfectly and shoots off up the other end before he's smashed by Taukeiaho, who then gives away a penalty after a second effort. 

Now at the other end the rookie Nicoll-Klokstad is targetted by a Keary bomb, but he's equal to it. 

They bomb to the wing of Nicoll-Klokstad but Tupou easily wins that battle. 20m tap. 

The Roosters get something cooking but it fizzles out as Tupou's offload to Pearce is knocked on. Scrum for the Warriors inside the opposition half. 

Fusitua is whacked by Napa and stays down. That was a big shot, as we've come to expect from him. 

Mannering gets halfway through a gap but can't reach out and score - he turns and tries to offload instead and loses the ball. 

Foran takes it to the line before throwing it out wide, and Manu gets a hand to it, trying to take an intercept. Scrum for the home side near the halfway line! 

Pearce dabs a well-placed grubber through on the last and Cordner runs onto it perfectly but can't make the pick up! A difficult task for the backrower there but had he taken it cleanly it would have been a try.
