Western Sydney Wanderers veteran Mark Bridge will play his last A-League match on Saturday night before embarking on a new career in football administration, where he will work towards establishing a club in a future national second division.

The 33-year-old said  he had no qualms about calling time on his professional playing career and is ready to move on to the next chapter of his life,  which will see him entering a football operations position with Mounties social club.

As revealed by the Sydney Morning Herald in March, Bridge will be playing for Mounties Wanderers in the National Premier League this year, and the striker revealed he will also take up an administrative role with the club.

"At the moment I am hoping to move into a football admin role at Mount Pritchard after I finish playing. I have a transport company that I can try and build up in the future, but we will see how things go," Bridge said.
