Botanic Gardens Walk

New Zealand plants, including ferns and conifers, are the focus of a guided walk at the Geelong Botanic Gardens tomorrow (May 5). Meet at 2pm at the garden’s front steps, gold coin donation.

Sustainable Floristry

Visit Ausflora Pacific’s 32-hectare cut flower plantation and nursery in Gembrook for a Sustainable Floristry Event being hosted by Encouraging Women in Horticulture (EWHA) later this month. Participants will get a behind-the-scenes glimpse at cut-flower growing, while Rita Feldmann, founder of the Sustainable Floristry Network, will also give instruction on how to make an arrangement to take home. The event is from 1pm to 4pm on Thursday May 23 at Ausflora Pacific, 200 Ure Road, Gembrook, $40/$35 EWHA members. Email [email protected] to make a booking by May 16.
