"Police could see that the accused was fiddling around near the centre console and became suspicious she was attempting to conceal something," the statement said.

After winding down the window, Szepanowski told police the hire car was making noises and she believed something was wrong with it.

Asked where she'd been that night, she replied, "I have been with a friend having dinner."

Police said Szepanowski appeared anxious as she picked up her handbag on the passenger seat to hand over her identification. As she did so, they could see a bundle of cash and a large, clear resealable bag. They immediately became suspicious she was involved in drug dealing.

As well as her mobile phone connected to the charging portal, police saw a second phone under the seat. She said it wasn't hers and had been left under the seat from when she was given the car days before. It had 37 per cent battery life at the time.

Police checked her Queensland driver's licence, revealing "certain information" that led them to ask her to step out of the car. Again, they asked her what she was doing in the area.

Police allege that Szepanowski "told multiple stories before admitting that she had been with her sugar daddy".

She was breath-tested and drug tested. Both came back negative. Then police searched her car, retrieving $2500 in cash. She said it was from her sugar daddy.

The police statement said the woman from south-west of Brisbane travelled to and from NSW and Victoria as she had "clients" in those states.

As they searched the vehicle, police also found remnants of white powder, which they believed to be cocaine, in the plastic freezer bag, deepening their suspicions that Szepanowski was involved in drug supply.

According to the statement, it is a common practice for cocaine dealers to put smaller bags of cocaine into these larger, freezer-type bags.

She also had two Xanax tablets but no prescription.

Szepanowski said she had evidence of her meet-up with her sugar daddy on her mobile phone. Police told her that, if she could prove the cash was from him then she could keep it, but she was repeatedly unable to unlock the phone.

She was strip-searched in the back of the police vehicle but nothing of interest was found.

Police seized the cash, telling her they believed it was earned through drug dealing.

She was due to face a Local Court hearing on Wednesday but did not show up, prompting magistrate Daniel Covington to convict her of possessing a prohibited drug for the Xanax, and for possessing unlawfully obtained goods. She was fined a combined $350.

Szepanowski, who flaunts a luxurious life on social media, appeared on ABC's Four Corners last year in a story about the cosmetic surgery industry.

She told the program she received complimentary treatments to promote clinics online.

Her younger sister, Chloe, has more than 500,000 followers on Instagram.
