A young motorcyclist has died after hitting two cars in the state’s South East on Saturday evening.

The 22-year-old rider crashed just after 6pm near the intersection of Mount Burr Road

and Delaneys Road, Rocky Camp, just east of Millicent.

Both drivers in the other cars were not injured.

The man’s death is the 57th on SA roads this year compared to 35 at

the same time last year.

Major Crash investigators are also attending to two other serious crashes — one in Adelaide’s north, the latest one at Glengowrie.

Traffic restrictions apply for all the incidents that happened over a four-hour period on Saturday.

In the latest incident, police said the 9.50pm crash on Morphett Rd, near the intersection of Johnstone St, was serious, but could not provide further details of the driver’s condition.

Major Crash investigators earlier attended to an incident in Adelaide’s north in which

two cars collided head-on near the parking bay on Port Wakefield Rd between Dublin and Windsor just before 9pm.

Initial reports suggested one person was seriously hurt while two others were taken to Lyell McEwin Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The south-bound lanes of Port Wakefield Rd were shut to traffic for several hours.
