Some of the best performing stables with younger horses across NSW descend on Wyong today as a new wave of debutants and impressive trial winners take their first steps towards the spring.
But one two-year-old filly resuming from her first campaign in the autumn when she took on much tougher company looks one of the best bets on the eight-race card.

NZ-bred Icebath lines up in a maiden over 1200m for the progressive Brad Widdup stable at Hawkesbury. A daughter of two-time Doncaster Handicap winner Sacred Falls, which was one of the best wet-track gallopers to cross the Tasman, Icebath was thrown in the carnival deep end when beaten by three lengths in the group 2 Sweet Embrace at her second start before finishing well down the track in the group 3 Magic Night behind eventual Golden Slipper winner Kiamichi.
Far more modest company will greet her return today, and she looked very forward winning a recent home trial.
