Australian UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker has weighed in marginally heavier than opponent Israel Adesanya for his title defence at Melbourne's Marvel Stadium on Sunday.
Sydneysider Whittaker has come in right on the limit of just under 84 kilos, with interim champion Adesanya half a kilo lighter.
New Zealand-based and Nigerian-born Adesanya has a 17-0 MMA record and is 6-0 in UFC, while Whittaker has won nine straight and is unbeaten in five years.
