If it's not a provincial mini battle for the ages, it's certainly a turbo-charged match-race into higher city honours.
Two promising three-year-old Randwick-trained fillies, both with one win from two starts and treading a similar pathway, can nail down a metropolitan berth when they clash in an absorbing BM 64 handicap over 1200m at Tuesday's feature Kembla meeting.

Talented Bound To Win, by the late former Golden Slipper winner Sebring, resumed with a dominant maiden win as a hot favourite on the Beaumont track at Newcastle, running her last 600m in a slick 33.61 seconds. She's likely to jump the punters' elect again despite the obvious rise in grade.
Out to spoil the party is exciting neighbour Fashchanel, by prolific I Am Invincible, who scored a tough win on debut at Hawkesbury a month ago before run down in the last stride, also on the Beaumont track but in this same grade. With that BM 64 experience, and jumping from an ideal barrier, she can mount a challenge for favouritism.
