The new PSVR controllers.
Sony has announced the brand new controllers coming with the PlayStation 5's iteration of PSVR, and they look very different from anything we've seen before.
The controllers drop the wand design of the original PSVR's Move controllers, instead opting for something that feels half way between the Index's Knuckle and Oculus' Touch controllers. Unlike those two, it doesn't have its own name, instead just being the "PSVR Controller".
The 'orb' design includes some of the innovations introduced in the DualSense controllers, such as adaptive triggers and haptic feedback. It also features some elements from the Touch, such as 'finger touch detection' (capacitive buttons that can track your inputs without needing you to press them) and integration with the new PSVR headset's internal tracking.

While the geometry of them makes my head feel a bit non-euclidian and wonky, they look so slick. By shifting the big tracking ring from the front to the side there is less of a chance for you to whack them on your surroundings, and carrying over some of the tech from the well-received DualSense controllers just makes… well… sense.
PSVR for the PlayStation 5 was announced last month, though details since then have been a bit thin on the ground. It is said that it will enhance "everything from resolution and field of view to tracking and input", and will connect to the PS5 with a "single cord".
A release date for it, nor its controllers, have yet to be announced.
