Queensland Police are investigating Reece Walsh for alleged drug offences after the Warriors rookie was arrested in Surfers Paradise overnight.
Walsh was issued a move-on order by police just after midnight on Sunday morning before being spotted again by officers around 1am.
He was arrested and taken to Surfers Paradise police station.
The teenager was released with no charges, but police said in a statement they are investigating whether Walsh was involved in drug and public order offences.
“At a quarter past midnight, a 19-year-old man from Nerang was issued a direction to move on from an area in Surfers Paradise,” a police spokeswoman said.
“Then at around 1am he had returned to the same area in an alleged contravention of the move-on direction.
