74th min: Superb grubber kick by Cherry-Evans but Davey is unable to collect the difficult rebound off the post. Cronulla breathe a huge sigh of relief knowing victory is virtually assured now. 40th min: The Sharks strip Manly for numbers and Teig Wilton scores against a 12-man defensive line (Haumole Olakau’atu was in the sin bin for a high tackle on Aidan Tolman). Hynes adds the extras. Cronulla 32-0 at half-time. Wow, who saw that coming!! I’m struggling to remember a more dominant 40-minute performance from a centre. Talakai, who has run for an incredible 193 metres and made nine tackle busts already, is a 10 out of 10 so far.
