Chris Evans is among furious and heartbroken celebrities to vent their frustration in the wake North America’s latest shooting massacre.

As it stands, 18 children and a teacher are among the dead after suspect Salvador Ramos’ rampage through Robb Elementary School in the town of Uvalde, Texas.

Authorities believe Ramos, 18, also killed his grandmother before going to the school.

The horror was only brought to an end when Ramos was taken out by officers responding to the emergency.

Avengers star Evans took to Twitter in the wake of the incident, saying: “F***ING ENOUGH!”

Socialite Kourtney Kardashian said: “Schools should be a place where our kids go to learn, to make friends, to laugh, to grow, to discover themselves. A safe place where they can envision their futures. Not a place where their futures are taken away from them.”

“I plead to law makers to take accountability. We need a plan to protect our babies.”

Basketball giant LeBron James asked “when is enough enough man?”.

“My thoughts and prayers goes out to the families of love ones loss and injured at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, TX,” he said.

“Like when is enough enough man! These are kids and we keep putting them in harms way at school. Like seriously ‘AT SCHOOL’ where it’s supposed to be the safest!”

US President Joe Biden delivered an emotional call for new restrictions on firearms, questioning when the gun lobby would be taken to task.

“When in God’s name are we going to stand up to the gun lobby?” a visibly shaken Biden said at the White House shortly after returning from a five-day trip to Asia that was bookended by tragedy.

With first lady Jill Biden standing by his side, Biden said, “I am sick and tired. We have to act.

“It’s time we turned this pain into action.”
