Emergency services are responding to a helicopter crash in Sydney’s north-west.

NSW Police, NSW Fire and Rescue and NSW Ambulance were called just before midday and were seen just after 2pm working at the scene in South Maroota.

As seen from above, access to the crash site appears difficult to access given its location. There are also localised flooding and fire trails further complicating matters.

The wreckage of the helicopter was on fire earlier, but has since been extinguished.
