Yep, we’re still banging on about the weather, but today is the record hottest October 1 and if that’s not an excuse for weather-related posts, I don’t know what is. Expect us to refer to “the mercury” multiple times over the next couple of hours as the women’s grand final plays out.
Billie Eder is on the ground at Accor Stadium and says the team doctors from the Tigers and Rabbitohs met before the NSW state championship and declined the option to have drink breaks during the game. Apparently because the humidity level is low, it isn’t affecting the players as much as they thought it would.
As we build up to the NRLW final, King Stingray is out there in the heat (hot, innit) performing for the pre-match entertainment.
