Hawthorn forward Tyler Brockman will be a West Coast player by the end of Saturday, with the clubs agreeing to a deal that will be finalised soon.
The Eagles will send picks 44 and 63 to the Hawks – equating to a value of selection 38 on the draft value index – in return for the uncontracted Brockman, who was keen to return home to Western Australia. Two well-placed sources familiar with negotiations confirmed the deal would go through today.

West Coast could have snuck Brockman through the pre-season draft for free, and Fremantle tried to convince the 26-gamer to join them instead on a four-year contract, but he was adamant he wanted to play for the Eagles.
Brockman accepted a three-year deal at the Eagles.
