West Indies lose 9-48, bowled out for 86
An absolutely dismal display there from the West Indies who lost 9-48 to be bowled out for 86 after just 24.1 overs.
They did a reasonable job to start but collapsed in spectacular fashion. It’s their second-lowest ODI score against Australia, 16 more than the total of 70 they managed in Perth in 2013.
Australia will be looking to peel off these runs as quickly as possible and get out of Canberra.
Some of the Sydney boys might even be in their own beds tonight at this rate.
Make that nine down
Adam Zampa (2-14 from 4.4 overs) gets in on the act as Motie is trapped in front for a fourth ball duck after attempting a sweep shot.
It was given out on the field and replays show the ball was pitching in line and hitting middle stump about halfway up.
This is as bad as it gets.

Another wicket for Bartlett (3-16) after bouncing Roston Chase.
The Windies No.6, who is batting out of his crease, hooks one down Jake Fraser-McGurk’s throat at deep square leg. Easy as you like.
This is very ordinary batting from the West Indies who could get skittled for under 100.

Morris has suffered a side strain: Cricket Australia
A statement has just come through from Cricket Australia after fast bowler Lance Morris left the field midway through his fifth over.
“Lance Morris sustained a side strain in today’s ODI match against the West Indies in Canberra,” reads the statement. “Morris will have a scan (timing TBC) to determine the extent of the injury.”
Morris wasn’t picked in Australia’s T20 squad for upcoming matches against the West Indies but would have been a chance of being in Australia’s Test squad for matches in New Zealand.

Run-out plunges West Indies into further trouble
Oh dear. This is a debacle.
Matthew Forde is out second ball. He hits one to mid-wicket, sets off down the pitch, but is sent back by Roston Chase at the none-striker’s end. To make matters worse, he slips over. You have to laugh a bit.
Forde isn’t happy as the West Indies lose another. Good spray of his mate. Probably fair enough.

West Indies 6-73 as Bartlett strikes
Xavier Bartlett comes back into the attack and nicks off Romario Shepherd for one. It’s a wider delivery and Shepherd just couldn’t help himself. Easy catch for Inglis.
Bartlett is doing well once again with figures of 2-11 from 5.1 overs. International cricket proving to be a breeze.
Things are going from bad to worse for the tourists who aren’t putting up much of a fight here in Canberra.

‘A poor dismissal’: Zampa grabs Australia’s fifth wicket
Athanaze gets down on one knee and tries to sweep Zampa into the leg side but gets a top edge and is caught for 32 off 60 balls.
That’s half the job done for Australia. They’ll be wanting to go for the kill here. Fielding in the 50th over is worst-case scenario in a game that they want to wrap up as soon as possible.

Lance Morris has come off the field halfway through his fifth over.
But the young quick appears to be jogging off the field. We’ll bring you any news on Morris and whether he comes back onto the field.

Zampa searching for Australia’s fifth wicket
Adam Zampa is getting into his work now, varying his pace nicely.
The runs have continued to dry up for the Windies. They have managed just 16 off their last five overs.
Adam Gilchrist is concerned by their lack of urgency and desire to put away rare bad balls from this attack.
There is half an appeal at the end of Zampa’s second over but the ball appeared to pitch outside leg.
