It’s been a rough afternoon here at Paris HQ, what with the men’s trap shooting final and those pesky Canadians polishing off our women’s rugby sevens and men’s basketball teams.
So, in search of some much-needed relief, I decided to fire up Wordle.
As Rob Harris revealed on Day 2, champion canoeist Jess Fox turned to the popular New York Times game to calm her nerves before winning gold in the women’s kayak singles.
It worked. So I figured I’d follow her lead. And, listen, I couldn’t paddle my way out of a bath, but I’m throwing open the challenge to Fox to get home in two words or less.

Look. I didn’t get it in two words, or one (that actually happened once – thanking you, “atone”), but a win’s a win.
Your move, Jess.
