Refugee Week is a special time to become an Australian citizen, particularly for people who've come to Australia under the Department of Immigration and Citizenship's (DIAC) humanitarian program.
In the past twelve months, some 13 500 refugees have have settled in Australia, with an even larger number to be welcomed in the 2009-10 financial year.
During Refugee Week 2009, DIAC took time to meet up with Sudanese family the Sholls, who arrived in Australia four years ago.
