The shadow of Black Caviar will always follow Peter Moody, and nothing will compare to her legend.
Moody will return to Randwick on Saturday with another incredible sprinter, I Wish I Win, which is the $4 favourite for The Everest.

“It’s a totally different ballgame. The pressure that was around her was unique because she was undefeated,” Moody said of Black Caviar. “This bloke [I Wish I Win] has been beaten quite a few times, and he will be beaten again.
“It is chalk and cheese. He’s a good horse – she [Black Caviar] was unique.
“We would have probably bought a slot if The Everest was around when she was racing. I would have been foolish not to.
“Neil [Werrett, Black Caviar’s managing owner] has got one [Private Eye] and I think [Black Caviar’s success] had something to do with that.”
I Wish I Win will earn $7 million with a victory on Saturday. Black Caviar’s career earnings were $7.9 million in her unbeaten 25-start career.
